Our experienced and successful team offers:

- Expert guidance in song repertoire and monologue selection and performance, based on current college and professional audition trends and on what best shows off each student's unique talent

- Expert guidance in how to approach a college dance audition: how best to prepare if you're not a trained dancer and how to maximize your impact if you are a trained dancer

- Coaching in person or long-distance via Skype and/or iChat, with coaches in
New York City, Dallas, San Diego, Pittsburgh, Washington, DC, and Kansas City.

- First hand knowledge of many college acting and MT programs: from our coaches and alumni, and from other professional interactions with college program faculty

- Focus not just on material selection, but on the processes of preparing audition pieces, to give students a skill set that will serve as a foundation for college classwork (and will advance any auditioning skills they already have)

- Vocal health evaluation, monitoring, and advice from a speech pathologist who specializes in performance voice

- Overall guidance on auditioning: lists of schools that are a good fit for each individual student's needs, audition attire, strategies for scheduling auditions, interview prep, even stress management for students AND parents!

Other services available:

- Audition prep for summer programs & performing arts high schools

- For schools and theatres: workshops on auditioning (including song and monologue choice, acting monologues, and acting a song) and vocal health

How we work:

Our students work regularly with specific coaches to prepare songs and/or monologues and to refine their dance technique and dance auditioning skills.

They then have several opportunities to show their audition material to other members of our coaching team, both in individual coaching sessions and in mock college audition workshops.

This collaborative coaching allows our students to refine their audition pieces and broaden their skill set through the feedback and input of an array of top-level coaches from a variety of backgrounds.
