Supervision
Mark
is a graduate of the University of Michigan Musical Theatre
program and is currently a student in the MFA acting
program at the University of California, San Diego.
Credits at UCSD/La Jolla Playhouse include THE
REVENGER’S TRAGEDY (directed by Tony Award and Drama Desk
nominee Christopher Ashley), CAMINO REAL, GRUESOME
PLAYGROUND INJURIES, and the premier of the new play
OYSTER.
Other performance credits include:

ABOUT FACE (w/ Barbara Walsh, Pam Myers, and Mark
Zimmerman), and various readings/concerts. Regional: ALTAR
BOYZ (Luke) at the Zach Scott Theatre in Austin, TX; the
lead role of Natty Bumppo in the world premier production
of GLIMMERGLASS (composer Doug Cohen); THE LION, THE WITCH,
AND THE WARDROBE (Peter); MISS SAIGON; HAIR (Claude);
TOMMY; SINGIN’ IN THE RAIN, THE TEMPEST, and more. His film
and television credits include the independent pilot “The
Band,” which was selected for the New York Television
Festival, and numerous independent and student
films.
In
addition to performing, Mark is an accomplished
accompanist, musical arranger, and music director. He was
the music director for the pre-Broadway concert reading of
GLORY DAYS at Signature Theatre in Washington, D.C.; an
accompanist for the New York reading and recording of the
new musical NOT EXACTLY ROMEO; creator, director and music
director of a concert version of THE CIVIL WAR at the
University of Michigan; and music director of productions
of HAIR, TOMMY, and HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL.
