were on hand to work
with several auditioning seniors.
"Healthy High School Musical" vocal health seminar in Pittsburgh. Team members Nick DePinto, Natalie Weiss, Mark Christine, and Charlie Murphy all contributed their skills to help promote preventitive vocal care during the stressful high school musical season. This workshop was planned and directed by Ellen Lettrich at the University of Pittsburgh Voice Center.
Senior Olivia Ercolano made a special guest appearance at the University of Pittsburgh Voice Center's Voice Rounds, a consortium of surgeons, speech pathologists, and medical singing voice specialists. Olivia joined coaches Mark Christine and Ellen Lettrich in a demonstration entitled "What is vocal coaching?"
Mark Christine and Cortney Wolfson participated in several readings and the demo recording of Not Exactly Romeo, a new musical by Paul Fujimoto and Eric Holmes.
Nick DePinto began teaching Acting at McDaniel College in Maryland for Spring semester 2008.
Mary Anna Dennard hosted the first Mental Management Seminar for auditioning seniors and their parents. The seminar helped provide the students with ways to deal with the stress of auditions, both as they prepare for college auditions and for their professional auditioning lives.
Telly Leung was cast in the lead role of Song in M Butterfly at the Philadelphia Theatre Company. This production is the Philly premiere of the play which is celebrating its 20 year anniversary.
Chris Peluso was cast as Marius in Les Miserables at the Marriot Lincolnshire in Chicago. He will be performing the role from February-May.
Natalie Weiss performed in multiple concert events this month. First, she sang in Scott Alan's concert at Birdland with Liz Callaway, Shoshana Bean, and more. She also be sang as part of the Monday Nights, New Voices concert series at The Duplex, performing the songs of Jonathan Reid Gealt.
