Rick
is the Assistant Music Director for the 2010-11 national
tour of NEXT TO NORMAL. He has music directed THE LAST FIVE
YEARS (Berkshire Theatre Festival) and SPAMALOT (Ogunquit
Playhouse). Other music directing credits include THE
MUSICAL OF MUSICALS (THE MUSICAL!) for the Weston Playhouse
in Weston, VT. NYC keyboard credits include MAMMA MIA!,
SPAMALOT, BILLY ELLIOT, AVENUE Q, NAKED BOYS SINGING, and
rehearsal piano for CHICAGO. Rick was also the
associate conductor for Henry Krieger’s ROMANTIC POETRY at
MTC. On the road, Rick conducted and played keyboards for
the first national tours of AVENUE Q, SPAMALOT and Disney’s
ON THE RECORD. Favorite credits include music direction for
INTO THE WOODS at CAP21, keyboards for BEING ALIVE at the
Westport Country Playhouse and various productions of
FOREVER PLAID, SONGS FOR A NEW WORLD, COMPANY, TOMMY and
LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS.
Rick is originally from the suburbs of Chicago and holds a
Bachelor of Music from NYU.
