As
a vocal coach in NYC, Natalie focuses on belting,
mixing, the "legit" voice, phrasing, acting fundamentals,
and music literacy.
Natalie Weiss is currently making her Broadway debut in
Sheri Rene Scott's EVERYDAY RAPTURE as the understudy of
the Menonettes. She has performed in the ensemble and
understudied Elphaba in the 2nd National Touring Company of
WICKED. She recently played to a sold out crowd at
Birdland in her first one woman show, OFFLINE. She
has had the privilege of collaborating with many talented
writers such as Scott Alan, Andrew Lippa, Jason Robert
Brown, Jeff Blumenkrantz, Zina Goldrich, and Marcy
Heisler. Her favorite readings include DARLING
composed by 2009 Jonathan Larson recipient Ryan Scott
Oliver, EVER AFTER, and TINA GIRLSTAR (workshopped at New
York Stage and Film). She is involved with the
Broadway Inspirational Voices choir under the direction of
Michael McElroy. Regional appearances include the Kennedy
Center in D.C, the Pittsburgh CLO, and North Shore Music
Theatre in Massachusetts. Natalie can be heard on the
recordings of Scott Alan's "Keys", Goldrich and Heisler's
DEAR EDWINA, and on the BMI songbook podcast. Natalie was
an American Idol Season 4 semi-finalist but is most
well-known for her YouTube videos. She has gained an
international following through her top hits, ("And I Am
Telling You", "I'm A Star", "Quiet", "The Spark of
Creation", and "I Believe In You And Me"), which have
reached over 100,000 views.
