Darren Biggart, BFA, AEA
Dance, Song Performance
Darren is a graduate of the University of Michigan's
Musical Theatre Department. He has performed regionally at
the Pittsburgh Civic Light Opera (A-rab in WEST SIDE
STORY), and at the MUNY in St. Louis (HELLO DOLLY;
OKLAHOMA!). His recent New York endeavors include THE
TOYMAKER (NYMF). singing at the Dramatists Guild concert at
Lincoln Center, and developing roles in several new works.
Other favorite roles include Jack (INTO THE WOODS), Pippin
(PIPPIN), 'Steam Heat' Dancer (THE PAJAMA GAME), and Scott
in the world premiere of A GOOD BOY.
Also an accomplished teacher/choreographer, Darren taught
tap, jazz, and music theatre for Stageworkz Studio in
Maryland, and has directed/ choreographed workshops and
productions for several high schools, youth training
programs, and community theatres throughout Maryland and
Michigan.
