Song Performance, Vocal Technique
Dixie has been a member of the coaching team since 2005 and
has been a professional pianist and music director for 12
years. In addition to accompanying for our mock auditions
and being a vocal coach, Dixie has taught MT song
performance at all levels, from elementary school to
college. She also does transposition work.
As a performer, Dixie has performed with Pittsburgh CLO and
Point Park University and has done numerous cabarets and
independent concerts throughout Pittsburgh. Her two
favorite roles have been Madeline in KING OF HEARTS and Meg
in LITTLE WOMAN.
Dixie received her BFA in Musical Theatre from Point Park
University, where she was named the Outstanding Senior of
2006. She also minored in French and is a fluent speaker.
