Greg
Jarrett graduated with Bachelor of Music degrees in
Composition and Music Theory from the University of
Michigan, where he studied with William Bolcom and Michael
Daugherty. Greg served as Assistant Music Director for the
NYC Encores productions of FANNY and ANYONE CAN WHISTLE. He
was a rehearsal pianist for the St. Louis MUNY's 2009
season, playing for four of the seven shows, and will be
returning for the 2010 season.
At Michigan, Greg accompanied the Musical Theatre Senior
Showcase for two years, conducted a production of
ASSASSINS, and accompanied and/or played in the pit for
numerous Musical Theatre Department shows, including the
25th Anniversary Concert. He also music directed the MPulse
Musical Theatre summer program with Brent Wagner.
He has been studying piano since the age of five, and his
playing has been heard at Carnegie Hall, Hill Auditorium,
and the opening of the UofM Art Museum, among other venus.
Greg works as a vocal coach and freelance
pianist/composer/arranger in the city.
